Dec 10, 2014· This study adopts an insitu infrared (IR) sintering incorporated with carbonization technique to synthesize carboncoated LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 2 (LNCM) cathode materials for Liion batteries. Compared with electric resistance heating, the insitu IR sintering is capable of rapidly producing highlycrystalline LNCM powders at 900 °C within a short period,, 3 h in this case.
